Recycling Day in Norcross: 4 Great Ways in 1 Great Day!
Saturday, September 28, 2013
September 28th is Neighborhood Clean-Up and Recycling Day, one of Norcross’ two annual Clean-up and Recycling Events, and part of our local “CAN” Do for Hunger Food Drive. American Security Shredding will be here to shred those important documents you haven’t looked at in 100 years and don’t want anyone else to see, either. Electronics Recycling means pack rats can trash old cell phones, computers and keyboards without guilt! City residents can unload stuff in the city dumpsters at the Public Works facility, and everyone is urged to clean out pantries and bring canned or non-perishable goods to support the 2013 “CAN” Do for Hunger Campaign. It’s all great for the environment and our community! For complete info including costs (most things can be dropped off for free, but best to check the info before you arrive) locations and what materials will be allowed, please contact the Event Organizer. ***Proof of residency req'd to access Lively St. facility (all other sites open to public.)
