The role of the Economic Development Manager is to act as the liaison for the City of Norcross. As the liaison between the city and new and existing businesses, developers and home owners, it is the job of the Economic Development Manager to promote the city and plan for future development.
The goal is to ensure that the City of Norcross is a thriving, sustainable community both now and in the future. This is achieved through the planning and promoting both the city and the outlying areas. Through the collecting of statistical and demographic data, and in working in conjunction with the Community Development Department, the economic development manager promotes and assists in both the creation and expansion of business opportunities and residences, ensuring a prosperous future.
