Important Information for Attorneys
A defendant can only be represented by an attorney in good standing with the Georgia State bar at your arraignment or trial.

Uniform Rules of Municipal Courts
Rule 7.1 of the uniform rules of Municipal Courts of the State of Georgia states:
No attorney shall appear in his or her representative capacity before a municipal court until he or she has entered an appearance by filing a signed entry of appearance form or by filing a signed pleading in a pending action. In order for this court to be in compliance with the uniform rules of the Municipal Courts of the State of Georgia, and to handle all cases with efficiency and professionalism. It is requested that all attorneys file an entry of appearance no later than one week before the scheduled court date.

If the entry has not been received by our office prior to your assigned court date, your case will not be heard on the scheduled date. The case will then be rescheduled to allow time of the entry of appearance to be filed. Per the uniform rules of the Municipal Courts of the State of Georgia, attorneys who are deemed to have a conflict are "expected to give written notice such that it will be received at least seven days prior to the date of conflict."
