2013 Season runs May 24th through August 30th. Concerts are held in Thrasher Park, 7:30p.m. - 9:30p.m.
Every summer the City of Norcross host a series of free concerts in Thrasher Park. This series begins with a tribute to our fallen heroes on Memorial Day with a short ceremony and live music. The series continues every other Friday throughout the summer, ending on the weekend of Labor Day. Bands are brought to Norcross from throughout the Southeast, as well as some of the most popular Atlanta-based entertainers.
The park offers a wonderful open air venue, with tables and chairs available for rental. Come relax, socialize and dance the evening away. Feel free to bring the kids, as we have one of Gwinnett's best playgrounds adjacent to the concert area. You can bring your own food and drink or grab a "to-go picnic" at one of Norcross' great restaurants, located within easy strolling distance from the park. There is not a better way to spend a Friday night than listening to some great tunes, dancing with your partner and laughing with friends.
The concerts are also collection sites for the "CAN" Do food drive, a county-wide effort to fill the shelves of local food pantries. Donations of canned food and non-perishable items can be dropped off in bins during each concert - everything will be collected and taken to the Norcross Co-op Ministries, our local charity dedicated to helping needy families in our community.
NORCROSS...a place to imagine...a place to dance...a place to have FUN!
