On July 14, Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson will be at 45 South Cafe from 9am -10am to answer questions about the proposed Transportation Investment Act.
On July 31, you will have the opportunity to vote on a referendum that would fund $8.5 billion in transportation improvements through a regional one percent sales tax. As Chairman of the Atlanta Regional Transportation Round Table, Mayor Johnson has intimate knowledge of the proposed referendum, and can answer questions that will help you decide your position on the vote. He can also explain how these funds would support local transportation projects, and even identify some of the projects potentially considered by Norcross Council members.
Everyone is invited to come enjoy a cup of coffee and a
casual Q&A chat with the Mayor - it's a great way to get the facts before you
cast your vote at the polls!
