Norcross-Based Visix Is Best of Show

NEC Display Solutions of America chose Norcross-based Visix, Inc. as the 2012 Best of InfoComm Award winner. According to a recent report in the Gwinnett Business Journal, this maker of browser-based digital signage software had the best product or service showcased at the annual global professional AV and digital signage forum held in June at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

InfoComm hosted over 900 exhibitors, with Visix winning the award with its AxisTV Version 8.0 Digital Signage Software submission. According to Norcross resident and Visix president Sean Matthews, the company will donate the $10,000 prize to the Hirsch Academy, an Atlanta-based organization that meets the educational and developmental needs of children with learning differences.
