    Go to the Secretary of State's website at http://sos.georgia.gov/ and click on "Elections" from the top tab.

  2. How do I look up ethics reporting requirements for elected officials?

    You can go to the State Ethics Commission's website at http://ethics.georgia.gov/ to find copies of all requirements and actually find each elected officials reporting schedule.

General Information

  1. How do I submit an Open Records Request?

    You may download the form for submission from the City Clerks page or request that a form be emailed to you. You may also pick up a form at City Hall. O.C.G.A. 50-18-71 states that $.25 per page may
    be charged for copies. A charge will also be made for the time of the city employee if the time needed to search for requested documents exceeds 15 minutes. Georgia Law allows for a three day response time to the requestor to inform them of the cost and length of time required to obtain the requested information.

  2. What do I do if I want to address the Mayor and Council on an issue?

    During the Regular Mayor and Council Meeting, held the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., the Mayor has a time at the beginning of the meeting when he allows citizens to come forward to address any issue that is not on the regular agenda.
