Norcross Development Authority (NDA)
Mission
The Authority is created for nonprofit and public purposes as set forth in O.C.G.A. § 36-62-1 et seq., including but not limited to serving and providing investment capital to Low-Income Communities or Low-Income Persons as those terms are defined in the law and regulations of the Economic Development Administration, HUD, New Markets Tax Credit Program and other federal government programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Norcross Development Authority shall all organize itself, carry out its duties and responsibilities and exercise its powers and prerogatives in accordance with the terms and provisions of the Development Authorities Law O.C. G.A. § 36- 62- 1 et seq.) as it now exists and as it might hereafter be amended or modified.
- Serving and providing investment capital to Low-Income Communities or Low-Income Persons as those terms are defined in the law and regulations of the Economic Development Administration, HUD, New Markets Tax Credit Program, and other federal government programs.
- stimulate quality economic development
- Expand, and diversify the tax base
- Provide quality jobs
- Retain existing businesses
- Sustain quality of life for residents throughout the City of Norcross
Meetings
NDA meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall 2nd Floor Community Room.

Members
NDA is a seven-member board serving four-year terms, one member who is a member of the governing authority of the city (i.e. either the Mayor or a City Councilmember). All members shall be taxpayers residing in the City of Norcross.
