The City of Norcross is monitoring the probability of snow and/or ice later this week and encourages residents and businesses to prepare for possible power outages and hazardous road conditions.
Ice is the greatest concern, as it can cause trees to fall, blocking roads and impacting power lines. The Norcross Police Department strongly advises residents to limit driving during these likely poor conditions to ensure safety.
Whether you are a Norcross Power customer or use another provider, please rest assured that the City of Norcross will have crews ready to respond to downed trees and power line issues. Please note that power outages do not need to be reported, as automated notifications from “smart” meters will handle this process.
