The Norcross Police Department is comprised of three divisions:
Office of the Chief/Administrative
The Office of the Chief is comprised of the Chief of Police, an Executive Assistant and an Administrative Fiscal Coordinator. The Chief of Police is responsible for the overall operations of the police department and sets the short-term and long-term goals and objectives, as well as planning for the future needs of the department.
Support Services Division
Support Services is commanded by a Captain, who answers directly to the Chief of Police and is responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of:

CALEA and State Certification
Criminal Investigations Division
Property and Evidence Technician
Crime Suppression Unit
Community Outreach Programs and Services (C.O.P.S.)
Communications/Records Supervisor
