The Norcross Police Communications Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is staffed by a team of highly skilled and dedicated public safety dispatchers. Our dispatchers serve as the first point of contact for community members in need, handling both emergency and non-emergency calls for police service within the City of Norcross.
In addition to managing multiple phone lines and radio channels, the Communications Center is responsible for monitoring and entering critical data into state and national computer systems. This includes records related to wanted persons, stolen property, missing persons, runaway juveniles, stolen vehicles, and more.
All employees assigned to the Communications Center are certified as Communications Officers by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Council. This division is managed by Taylor Johnson.
