This section is responsible for the management of departmental records, accident, and arrest reports generated by the Norcross Police Department. The Records Clerks are supervised by Communications/Records Supervisor Joan Heckert.
Records personnel also serve as the liaison with various judicial agencies related to the prosecution of persons arrested, the Uniform Crime Reporting management, and compliance with State of Georgia Open Records and Record Retention laws.
Criminal History Check
With a Criminal History Request Form signed by the individual to be checked and valid identification, the Norcross Police Department can perform a criminal history check only within the State of Georgia for a $20 fee. Contact Records at 770-448-2111.
Expungement of Record
The individual MUST appear in person to our Records Department with a completed Expungement Application Form, a Georgia Criminal history, identification, certified copy of the disposition. The cost is $25.
Incident reports are available within 3-5 business days and may be requested online at RiskJockey,from the Records Department in person, or via email (only with a personal email address). The Records Department is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Open Records Requests
Open Records Requests can be submitted online at www.RiskJockey.com, from the Records Department in person, via fax request to 770-448-2253, via email request to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 678-421-2050.
Effective September 1, 2017, there will be a $10 flat fee (plus $1.50 shipping and handling if mailed), for all video burned to disc by our Records Personnel. Other law enforcement agencies, court offices, and citizens of the City of Norcross will not be charged this fee.
